Standing Orders Addendum
– Filming, Audio-Recording and Photography of Council and Committee Meetings
Any person may film, audio-record or take photographs of and report on the proceedings of any part of a meeting which the public are entitled to attend by law. While no prior permission is required, it is advisable that any person wishing to film or audio record a public meeting notifies the town clerk in advance so that reasonable facilities can be provided.

Financial Regulations
Financial regulations are technically part of Standing Orders, but Hythe Town Council considers they are so important that they are maintained separately. Financial regulations give details of how the council manages its finances.

Standing Orders for Town Meetings
Town meetings are not council meetings. They are a meeting of town electors and must take place between 1st March and 1st June. They are an opportunity to celebrate local activities and debate current issues in the community.
