VE Day Celebrations 2020

Whilst the previously planned VE Day Celebrations were not able to take place in Hythe due to the restrictions relating to Covid 19, many residents did indeed mark the occasion, observed the two minutes silence and celebrated in their own homes and gardens.

Councillor Major Keith Miles, Chairman of the Hythe Branch of the Royal British Legion has very kindly supplied the attached photographs of his and other members of the Royal British Legion’s Acts of Remembrance.
