South Road Sports Facilities
Contact us about this venueThe Sports Facilities at South Road consists of adult, junior and mini football pitches, grass and hard tennis courts and a bowling green which are available to hire in the summer months.
The Sports facilities are set in the grounds of Hythe Sports Pavilion. The facilities have access to the car park at Hythe Sports Pavilion.
Football Pitches
Anyone interested in hiring a football pitch should contact the town council for availability or visit our hire rates page for hire costs.
Tennis Courts
There are two grass and two hard tennis courts at the South Road Sports Facility and the courts are open seasonally from April until September, from 10:00am-dusk.
During the opening times, you can just turn up and play or you can book a time slot. There is a small hire charge.
If courts are unavailable due to adverse weather conditions, Hythe Town Council will post a notice of this in advance wherever possible.
Bowling Green
There is a grass bowling green at the South Road Sports Facility which is open seasonally from Easter Weekend- to September, from 10:00am-dusk.
During the opening times, you can just turn up and play or you can book a time. There is a hire charge.
There is a possibility that on some dates the bowls will be unavailable and notice of this will be placed in advance wherever possible.
